Whatever exists now started with a thought.
You want to change your life? Start a business? Become a happier person? Then start changing your thoughts.
This is not done in one day and definitely easier said than done. Working on your mindset is a lifetime project but also the secret to the best life you can imagine for yourself.
But how can we change our thoughts?
First we have to realize how our current thoughts look like and understand that the situation we are in, the life we are living now, is caused by our past mindset.
There are endless practices and coaches and books who can tell you how to do that (good vibes, good life/ the secret etc ) and here is what I am currently doing to change my mindset:
Once I wake up, my first thoughts for 5-10 minutes are what I am grateful for. I am grateful for waking up today, for my health, my family and friends, for having a job, for water and food, for access to education and the chance to be who I want to be.
As I put in my make up, do my hair and get ready, I put on a motivational speech on YouTube for about 20minutes. There are endless speeches and podcasts and they motivate you right in the morning to do your best during the day and put you in a positive mindset.
On my way to work I am reading. And not a love novel but an educating book for about another 20minutes.
Since I reach the office good half an hour before anyone else, I use the time and do online research and networking on WordPress.
Before your actual job starts, you can already work on yourself and your future and start the day with a positive mind.
